This is a shooting fundamentals class to help those of you who want to work on your pistol shooting skills, with an emphasis on safety, grip and recoil management, follow through, and shooting at various distances. If you want to work on getting more consistency in your shooting skills, this will be a great time to learn.
This class will cover the basics of safe draw from holster. The first hour will cover out of waistband strong side draw, and the second hour will incorporate draw from concealment using your conceal carry holster rigs. Students wishing to practice draw but not ready for draw from concealment can choose to complete the entire class from strong side OWB.
As a continuation of our Holster Basics Course, students will review safe holster use, then transition to moving from location to location safely, basic moving while shooting, and shooting from different positions. The basics of shooting around barriers, safe transition from target to target, and loading/unloading will also be addressed.
