Students wishing to practice draw but not ready for draw from concealment can choose to complete the entire class from strong side OWB.  Students will be able to see what their current level of skill in drawing from holster is and build from that baseline.

As a continuation of our Holster Basics Course, students will review safe holster use, then transition to moving from location to location safely, basic moving while shooting, and shooting from different positions. The basics of shooting around barriers, safe transition from target to target, and loading/unloading will also be addressed. Students will have time to discuss how the components of competitive shooting connect to the skills of defensive shooting. This class requires that students have previously practiced drawing from holster and have a good understanding of the 4 rules of safety.

You will NOT be sprayed with OC spray during this class. We will be using inert trainin

This first class in the OC series is ideal for young adults going away to school or people who can’t or don’t feel comfortable carrying a firearm.  Students will learn the basics of when, how, and why to use OC (pepper) spray for self defense. You will NOT be sprayed with OC spray during this class. We will be using inert training units (water) for practice. We will have a safety check prior to running the scenarios to ensure that everyone is clear of any actual firearms or other weapons. This is a non negotiable for everyone’s safety. Each participant will leave the class equipped with a new, high quality OC pepper spray unit. Dinner will be provided.
